Lawn Mowing
This service includes mowing, trimming, and blowing grass clippings on a weekly basis. Curb and sidewalk edging shall be performed every other week. We will assign a mowing day for you should expect to see us every week on that day. Weather may play a factor in some weeks in which case, your mowing day will be changed to a later date. Pricing depends on the square footage of the lawn - we'll be happy to provide a free bid!
Lawn Fertilization & Weed Control
This service is a six step process of lawn health maintenance throughout the growing season. The application timing of each step depends on the weather conditions.
Pre-emergent/Fertilizer #1 - (Early Spring): prevents crabgrass/feeds lawn
Broadleaf Spray/ Fertilizer #2 - (spring) Kills broadleaf weeds/feeds lawn
Broadleaf Spray/ Fertilizer #3 - (early summer) Kills broadleaf weeds/feeds lawn
Grub Control/Summer Fertilizer #4 - (Summer) prevents grub damage/feeds lawn
Fall Fertilizer #5 (September15-October 15) feeds lawn
Winterizer Fertilizer #5 (late fall) feeds lawn
Lawn Core Aeration and Over Seeding:
This is the most important annual application for your lawn to prepare for next year's growing season. It starts new grass and allows the lawn to breathe and adsorb necessary nutrients such as water, nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium.
We core aerate and over seed your lawn with a quality fine-bladed, blended fescue seed mix. This service is completed at the same time as your Fall Fertilizer #5 in the fall.
Seasonal Flower Displays
Steidle can plant and maintain seasonal flower displays for your home or business to keep it colorful in the spring, summer and fall!
Shrub/Tree Pruning
We prune all existing shrubbery on the property in the spring, summer and the fall to give them a uniform, clean look.
We will also prune your trees at the same time (up to 6' from the ground)
Mulch Application - Landscape Beds and Tree Rings
We install a fresh mulch in the spring and fall in your beds and tree rings. We will use a double ground, brown dyed mulch. (Approximate cubic yards of mulch is how this is priced in your agreement.)
Bed, Shrub and Tree Treatments
We will remove weeds and apply a bed pre-emergent every month during the growing season. In addition, we will spray your shrubs and trees three times a year for insects to keep your yard happy and healthy.
Spring Cleanup
We will cut down your ornamental grasses and clean up your perennials in the spring.
Leaf Removal
We will remove your leaves once in the late fall (agreed upon time depending on weather).
